Katherine and I decided to have a meeting, we decided the best thing to do would be to come up with 3 ideas that we could show Asia in our next meeting, baring in mind what she has previously mentioned to us. We wanted to steer clear of the normal bog standard layout, so that her photographs and booklet stand out from the rest and draws attention to itself.
Idea 1 -
- pocket that comes in and out
- black sleeve that has coloured stitching as Cuba is all about colour, there are vivid bright colours all around
- the inside pocket could be a different format rather than the normal page layout, e.g. concertina
Idea 2 -
- have the front cover with cut out sections that are se through ( through the use of acetate) to show from either a building / hotel or a bus like the tourists would perceive Cuba
- have the front cover plain / coloured the same as the front then have a small bio about Asia and the photographs she took.
- have sections of acetate running throughout to maintain the 'story' aspect that Asia wants.

- 1 rectangle shaped illustration or painting that Katherine or I would do for the front and back cover. running over both to represent the shape of Cuba (long and thin)
