Initially after speaking with the client, we decided to keep the designs very simplistic and easy to read. The initial design idea the client sent over is below, unfortunately the logo was something that could not be changed due to the clients regulations :
So I started very simple looking at layout and how the image, text and logo all worth alongside each other, keeping in mind my research about the arrangement and where the eye flows when looking at the poster :
