Ronnie Scott 39 Gerrard Street
Ronnie Scott opened the first version of his self-titled jazz club in the basement of 39 Gerrard Street in Soho. Along with Ronnie himself and his business partner and fellow tenor saxophonist Pete King, the Tubby Hayes Quartet played on the opening night.
