Today we had Ben Watkinson from G. F. SMITH come in to talk to us and show us different types of publications and stock they use. At G. F. SMITH they have 5 different sections in their colour booklet that are dedicated just to different colours of white. He showed us a fashion LookBook where the different shades of white have an effect on what is in the foreground on the page. When you put the two pages with different whites apart they both just look as if they are white, however when you put them together, one white starts to look a bit more yellow and the other starts to look more grey in colour. It goes to show the small details that a graphic designer goes through to enhance the content on the page. Below are some images of the examples that we were shown.
