Finding our Marble

In order for our machine to work we needed a marble / small ball to flow down, this is because the wood is around 7cm thick so if we had a larger ball such as a ping pong ball that is lighter and bigger then it had more chance of falling off and our rube Goldberg not working. 

Initially we wanted to find a marble as it is heavy yet can be found small, however we asked around uni and went into town but could not find one that was small enough for our machine to work they were all too big and would have fallen off straight away. 

We went back to the metal workshop and they gave us this perspex ball which I then measured and found that it is 2cm wide which is perfect for what we want. The next step is to test out our marble to see if it is heavy enough to create the knock on effect we need from the domino / channel 0 branding building blocks.
