To develop the idea of Bob the Builder, we thought children's building blocks would be appropriate as they are representative of the tv show as it is all about 'fixing' and 'building'. To develop this into a machine we decided to have 2 different sets of building blocks.
One set of blocks that will be representing the Tv programme Bob the Builder through the colour palette and the shapes which will be loosely based on the bob the builder logo. Then, the Second set to be representing channel 0's branding and identity.
As seen in the sketch we will be setting out the second set of blocks as a domino effect type, which will follow after the other set of blocks that will be attached to another piece of wood where the ball will fall through like a Rube Goldberg machine.
We thought we would start by getting the bottom rectangular blocks in order in the channel 0 branding to have them cut out in order to test the domino effect that is desired.
