Looking at the logo we thought it could be perceived as quite recognisable, we wanted to play with this aspect by taking it back to the core shapes that may come out of the typeface. We cut the shapes out of the logo and played around with the placement as we thought this could form our rube Goldberg machine base.

After seeing this development we thought the different shapes could be the different stages in the machine, which is when we went back to the wood workshop with the below image with the intent of laser cutting it out of the wood. The idea of having the woodblocks loosely based around the typeface was the core aspect as we did not want it to be to obvious.
